Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is expected to unveil its 10X series phones in China on May 26. The phone will be coming with MediaTek's all-new 5G-capable Dimensity 820 SoC, which was announced earlier this month. The SoC features 4 large ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.6GHz and 4 small ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. The SoC also packs in an ARM Mali G57 GPU.
The company claims the AnTuTu score of the SoC to be more than 400000 which is quite competitive with offerings in this segment from Qualcomm, Huawei, and Samsung. Leaks also suggest that the phone will feature a 6.57-inch OLED display, a 48MP triple rear camera setup, and 4,420mAh battery. Overall, the phone seems to be very promising if launched at a competitive price. The company is also expected to launch a new range of TVs along with the phone on 26th May.
