Although it has been roughly 6 months the Redmi 8 was launched, we now have already seen a probable live image of the upcoming Redmi 9 smartphone. The smartphone is expected to have a quad-camera setup-up with a 13MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 5MP macro unit, plus a 2MP depth sensor.

From the looks of the smartphone, another thing that is noticeable is the new textured back design that we first saw in Redmi 8A, unlike the glossy plastic back design we saw in the Redmi 8. In my point of view, this is a good decision undertaken by the company. The phone is expected to come with MediaTek Helio G80 SOC as per Sudhanshu Ambhore.
