MIUI 8.2 Global Stable ROM Now Rolling Out !


Xiaomi , the Chinese manufacturer has started officially seeding the latest MIUI 8.2 update. And in keeping with its usual support policies, the software will eventually be available to a large number of Xiaomi models.

Xiaomi in their official forum states " We're very excited to present you the MIUI 8.2 Global Stable ROM!  From now on, you should be able to progressively receive the update over-the-air (OTA) on your phones via the Updater app. If you cannot wait, you can download the ROM packages in this thread below. Let's give credits to our dear developers, beta testers who have devoted so much time, energy to make this gorgeous moment happen. Their contributions shall be honored and respected. "

The devices, currently supported by MIUI 8.2 are: Mi Max, Mi Max Prime, Mi 4i, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi Note, Redmi 1S and Redmi Note 4G.Owners of these handsets should already be on the lookout for an OTA, through the Updater app. Manual flashing is also an option, with all the download links available at the source. 

The second part of the staged roll-out will start on February 20 and include the following handsets: Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm, Redmi Note 3 Special Edition,, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note Prime, Mi 2/2S, Mi 5, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, Redmi 3/Prime, Redmi 3S/Prime and Redmi Note 4.
